Inamax

Inamax is a black-and-green-feathered Irchtani warrior, Annaz's right hand and lieutenant, who serves as the effective captain (*ichakta*) of the Irchtani Guard in Hadrian's forces. He accompanies Hadrian to Forum, commands warriors during the assault on the *Demiurge*'s computer core, and is later assigned alongside Ramanthanu to watch over Cassandra. At Fort Din on Gododdin, he voices the Irchtani aspiration to transcend their status as beasts, invoking Udax as the one who opened the path.

Inamax is killed by Ramanthanu, who targets him specifically because he holds the rank of ichakta. Hadrian mourns his death as an unjust end. His body is committed to space with ceremony at a nameless star, alongside those of Anaaki and Bahaamuz.
