Gododdin

Gododdin is a world mentioned by Hadrian in a retrospective aside. Writing in old age, he reflects that had he died in the alley in Meidua, there would still be a sun in the skies above Gododdin and a Gododdin would still exist — implying that the world later ceases to exist, and that its fate is somehow connected to the chain of events set in motion by his survival.
