Forum is the seat of the Solar Throne and the Emperor of the Sollan Empire. The Solar Throne on Forum is said to use forced-perspective architecture so that the Emperor appears to dwarf even the lordliest duke — the same principle Lord Alistair employs on a smaller scale in his own throne room at Devil's Rest. Lady Elmira was summoned to attend the Emperor at Forum for thirty-seven years, during which time Lord Alistair served as executor of Delos in her absence.
