Inquisitor Agari

Inquisitor K. F. Agari is a Holy Terran Chantry inquisitor on Emesh who oversees the interrogation of captured Cielcin prisoners at the Borosevo bastille. A native Emeshi woman of flat features and black eyes, she projects total command of every situation through rigid bureaucratic discipline -- though she never detects Hadrian's unauthorized alterations to his Cielcin translations throughout the sessions.

When a prisoner riot disrupts the final interrogation of Uvanari, Agari is visibly rattled and departs to manage the wider crisis. At the emergency council convened afterward, she presses the assembled nobles and Legion officers for a second interrogation, but is overruled by Smythe. Her attempt to investigate the power cut that triggered the riot is also deflected with the official explanation.
