Yod

Yod is a Cantor of the Holy Terran Chantry and a demoniac who serves as the true power behind Prince Alexander. While publicly appearing as an attending cleric on Gododdin, Yod is the puppet master who directed Alexander's political maneuvers against Hadrian, including the public accusation that Hadrian bombed Catraeth.

Despite being apparently killed by Hadrian during their confrontation on Gododdin, Yod reappears alive in Meridian to direct Hadrian's execution. Before the assembled crowd, Hadrian names Yod as the true power behind the throne -- Alexander's handler and the architect of the empire's betrayal. His survival after apparent death suggests capabilities beyond those of ordinary demoniacs, consistent with the Holy Terran Chantry's hidden resources and the Order's deep manipulation of Imperial politics.
