Takeshi

Takeshi is an Elect-Master of the MINOS Lodge, one of the Exalted magi distinguished by the diamond-patterned circuit lines beneath his skin and the metallic gray eyes common to his order. During the assault on the MINOS tower, he coordinates the lodge's defense by directing lesser techs wired into the consoles, apparently communicating mind-to-mind.

When Hadrian kills the magus Urbaine, Takeshi draws a plasma blade -- a squared, edgeless weapon that generates a band of blue-white plasma capable of cutting through armorweave -- and challenges Hadrian to a duel, buying time for the mind-image transmissions of his fallen colleagues to complete. He wounds Hadrian before being killed when Hadrian drives the broken hilt of a shattered ceramic scimitar through his chest. Like the other slain magi, Takeshi is believed to have broadcast his own thoughtform-image at the moment of death.
