Sir Elomas Redgrave

Sir Elomas Redgrave is an elderly palatine knight who sponsored the Calagah excavation on Emesh and served as a trusted confidant and host to both Valka Onderra and Hadrian during their time at the dig. A widely traveled former duelist and uncle-in-law to Archon Veisi, he protected the expedition with sharp wit and social authority, and was among the first outside the dig team to be entrusted with knowledge of the Quiet.

By the time of Hadrian's later recollections -- nearly four hundred years after the events on Emesh -- Elomas is presumed dead. He is remembered through a holograph he took of Hadrian and Valka standing above the cleft at Calagah.
