Severn

Severn is a minor Chantry functionary at the court of Lord Alistair Marlowe on Delos. He wears the black robes of the Chantry and is seen alongside the aged Eusebia, supporting her arm as they leave a council meeting. He is present on the platform beside Alistair during Gibson's public punishment. He is described as one of the people at court around whom Hadrian has had to tiptoe for years, and is attributed with having once said the scholiasts ought to be rounded up as heretics.
