Kybalion

Kybalion is a changeling -- a shapeshifting creature -- serving as an agent of MINOS. Operating under the identity of a palatine man named Priscian Lascaris, Kybalion is stationed aboard the Vaiartu and works alongside the Cielcin Muzugara and the operative Gaizka.

Kybalion strips Hadrian and Cassandra of their weapons and equipment upon their capture, then serves as a guide through the Vaiartu galleries in the aftermath of Ushara's awakening. When cornered by Hadrian, it deploys concealed dart-thrower mechanisms and wields highmatter swords taken from Cassandra before being subdued. In its final moments, Kybalion shifts its face to mirror Hadrian's own -- dark hair, violet eyes, broken nose -- quoting Mephistopheles and taunting him to strike. Hadrian kills it, and in death its features relax to its true appearance: round and flat, though the violet eyes and black hair remain.
