Eusebia

Eusebia is the prior of the Holy Terran Chantry in Meidua on Delos, serving both the city council and the sanctum at Devil's Rest. At the council she asserts Chantry prerogatives against Director Feng, insisting that all political arrangements subordinate to the Emperor's war against the Cielcin. At Devil's Rest she officiates the funeral of Lady Fuchsia and leads the nightly Elegy service.

At the public punishment of Gibson, Eusebia calls loudly for his execution on grounds of heresy, but Lord Alistair ignores her and chooses banishment. She subsides so quickly that Hadrian concludes the outburst was staged -- a piece of theater rather than genuine Chantry pressure.
