Ejaz

Ejaz is an elderly villager in Racha on Colchis, with nearly colorless blue eyes. In his youth he served as apprentice to Lem, the eolderman of Racha and husband of Siran, before becoming a sailor and eventually returning to the village. Centuries later, when Hadrian revisits Racha, Ejaz is still alive and recognizes him by his silver voice and Valka by her clan markings, bowing as low as he is able in greeting.
