Amata Rempel

Amata Rempel is a strategos in the Imperial military who serves on Prince Alexander's war council during the Cielcin campaign on Gododdin. A veteran of the conflict at Taranis, she is a consistent voice of strategic caution, arguing against a pre-emptive assault on the Cielcin fleet for fear of leaving other fronts exposed, raising concerns that MINOS may have extended the Cielcin's telegraph capacity, and urging direct Imperial consultation when a food crisis threatens the campaign. Before the Cielcin strike on Gododdin, she broadcasts an emergency report of deep-space telemetry detecting the enemy fleet passing to galactic west near the Tenba system. She is killed in the opening moments of the assault, her death confirmed by both Bassander Lin and Kaim-Olorin.
