Ozymandias

**Merenhor** is the capital city of Ozymandias. **Panormo** is a site south of Merenhor, known for the Great Arches -- massive round stone arch structures, nearly full circles in form, with their bases buried in the sand. Tombs beneath the Great Arches were excavated during the Thirteenth Millennium. Scholars of the period attributed the arches to a group called the Arch-Builders; however, a text written by an aide to the scholiast who led the excavations argues that the Arch-Builders did not construct the arches themselves but were only inhabiting structures left by a far older and more advanced civilization, identified with the Quiet. The Great Arches at Panormo share their characteristic round, nearly full-circle form with similar Quiet arch structures found on other worlds, such as Annica.
