Numara

Numara is characterized by black-towered, gold-crowned cities that bristle with green vegetation.

Numara serves as the capital of Jadd's northernmost satrapy and was defended by a garrison of one hundred thousand mamluk clone soldiers under the local satrap. During the war with the Lothrian Commonwealth, Lothrian forces numbering approximately 1.2 million soldiers landed on Numara, outnumbering the defending forces nearly ten to one. The Lothrian army employed Cielcin-style boarding and mass-force tactics, boarding Jaddian ships and breaching fuel containment. The satrap's forces destroyed an estimated one-third of the invasion before being forced to retreat. Numara subsequently fell into Lothrian hands. Holographic footage of the fall was presented by the Jaddian emissary Sennen Gorgora to the Emperor's Grand Council on Forum as evidence that the Lothrian clone army was built from stolen Jaddian cloning technology.
