Vivienne Avent

Vivienne is one of the younger daughters of the Imperial family and a sister of Princess Selene. Short-haired and shorter in stature than her sister Titania, she is the more outspoken of the two younger princesses, and once defended Hadrian to the Empress when he was accused of attacking Philip.

By the time of the later war years, the Emperor arranges her marriage to Prince Kaim of the Jaddians, sending to Forum to formalize the match. Hadrian, who remembers her as an excitable young girl, wonders how she might take to life among the Jaddians and to the prince's piously diminished harem.
