Vanna Kvaran

Vanna Kvaran is a Tavrosi captain and first-among-equals of the surviving Tavrosi contingent following the Battle of Danu, in which nearly 9,650 of approximately 10,000 Tavrosi fleet members were killed. He bears his clan saylash in fractal spirals up the left side of his neck and jaw, and his voice carries a notable resemblance to Valka's. He shares a thathing bond with his two fellow surviving captains, whose gestures mirror his own.

At the war council aboard Demiurge, Kvaran confronts Hadrian directly, accusing him of leading the Tavrosi to slaughter by withholding the Astrophage weapon when he had the opportunity to deploy it. He departs without accepting Hadrian's offered handshake.
