Vanahita

Vanahita is a Cielcin prince and dissident clan leader who speaks against Syriani Dorayaica before the Aetavanni. During a gathering inside a skull-temple, Vanahita objects when Syriani kills another aeta named Ajimma, invoking the rule that aeta may not slay aeta. Syriani dismisses the protest by declaring that neither it nor Vanahita remains aeta. Moments later Vanahita staggers, blood running from his nostrils as poison takes effect, and accuses Syriani of having arranged the poisoning.
