Teyanu
CharacterAlso known as: Vayadan Teyanu
First appears in Kingdoms of Death, Chapter 27
Teyanu is one of the six original Iedyr Yemani, the chimeric slave-generals created to serve the Cielcin Prophet Syriani Dorayaica. A massive vayadan-general with a bloated white chassis, six great legs, bristling turrets, and a great red-eyed forecastle serving as its head, Teyanu was among the largest and most formidable of the Prophet's generals.
On Akterumu, Teyanu argued that Hadrian's continued life was an affront to Cielcin law and led the ceremonial march from the gates of Akterumu to the shrine of Miudanar's skull, with Hadrian chained to its rear.
Teyanu is subsequently destroyed by Lorian Aristedes, whose forces smash Teyanu's fleet at Eragassa. Lorian presents the wrecked hulk -- its legs removed and turrets excised -- as a trophy gift to the Sollan Empire at a landing ceremony. At the time of its defeat, Teyanu was one of only two of the six original slave-generals still surviving.
