Rand Mahidol

Rand Mahidol is the Imperial Lord Minister of War, a member of the Sollan Empire's Grand Council whose ancestors ruled the people of what became the Tavrosi Demarchy. Despite his advanced age, his hair remains black as pitch.

At Forum, Mahidol opposes Hadrian's proposals concerning Latarran telegraph technology, asserting that no means of tracing quantum telegraphy exists and citing survivor reports from Vorgossos that the Latarrans deceived the Empire. He also argues against Emperor Aurelian giving Hadrian any consideration, citing the disgrace Hadrian has brought upon the Emperor.
