Prisca Greenlaw

Prisca Greenlaw is a blond lieutenant and executive officer to Bassander Lin, serving under Knight-Tribune Raine Smythe during the Howling Dark expedition. She is plebeian and unmodified.

Hadrian describes Greenlaw as cold and officious, wielding her authority without concern or compromise -- someone he liked even less than Bassander himself. She confirmed at the Council of Captains that standard weapons failed against the SOMs during the Rustam mission, and remained Bassander's dependable second throughout the expedition.

Greenlaw dies holding the rear during the retreat from the Garden, ensuring others escape before she does not. A triaster's report of her death causes Bassander's shoulders to visibly slump -- a moment that prompts Hadrian to feel pity rather than satisfaction.
