Nazzareno

Nazzareno is an Exalted pilot and customs officer employed by the crew of the Enigma of Hours, the vessel that transports Hadrian and his companions to Vorgossos. Its body is a large bullet-shaped mechanical chassis, supported by eight or more articulated steel arms and bearing coal-red eyes that glitter like a spider's. It can project a human face onto its hull -- that of a smiling young brown-skinned boy -- and speaks in a high, lilting voice with the courtly manners of a Forum noble.

Nazzareno boards the Mistral as a boarding agent, having already infiltrated its datasphere remotely to conceal its approach. Uncomfortable in gravity, it moves awkwardly along walls and ceilings. Once aboard, it takes direct control of the Mistral through its chassis, disables the ship's instruments to protect the Enigma's location, and pilots the vessel into the Enigma's hold. It delivers Captain Eidhin's rules to the passengers and announces that the journey to Vorgossos will take roughly three standard weeks.
