Modanpotra

Modanpotra is an Intelligence Officer assigned to debrief Hadrian on Colchis following the events that preceded the book. Among the interrogators conducting the months-long questioning, he is notably the first to press Hadrian directly on whether the Cielcin extracted the Emperor's itinerary from him. His manner is probing and condescending, though he adjusts his approach when Hadrian confronts him with the fact that Hadrian has survived more than half a dozen assassination attempts while in the Emperor's service.
