Miana Hartnell

Miana Hartnell is a palatine and the Minister of Welfare on the Imperial Council. A member of the lesser palatine class rather than the old blood of the great houses, she is notable for her piety and her deference to the Holy Terran Chantry. She expresses shock upon learning that Lorcan Breathnach was an assassin, and argues that Hadrian cannot refuse a direct request from the Earth's Chantry.
