Marika Clavan

Marika Clavan is the captain of the ISV Troglita and Oberlin's designated successor in the chain of command. A silver-haired, copper-skinned officer who carries herself with the bearing of a veteran commander, she commands a complement of over eight thousand soldiers and crew during the campaign in disquiet-gods.

Clavan is killed when the Troglita is destroyed by a Cielcin worldship during the assault. Her final act is launching the Troglita's aquilarii -- Manticore Flight -- before the ship is lost, going down with the vessel alongside First Officer Morrow and all others aboard.
