Lonan

Lonan is a refugee peasant evacuated from Gododdin, traveling with his wife and young son to a Jaddian supercarrier in orbit. A bureaucratic wrist-tag assignment separates him from his family, and he struggles physically against legionnaire guards in his attempt to reach them. Hadrian intervenes and orders the family permitted to travel together.
