Lieutenant Karras

Lieutenant Karras is one of Hector Oliva's subordinates, serving aboard the Ascalon and at Maddalo House. Pale and waspish-faced, he operates as an instrument of Legion Intelligence surveillance, using a pretext of hearing raised voices to enter Valka's study in the east wing after detecting a recording fault in the room's equipment -- an act Hadrian recognizes as evidence of active monitoring.
