Henric Ghoshal
CharacterAlso known as: Henric
First appears in Disquiet Gods, Chapter 42
Henric Ghoshal was a palatine captain from Andraka, a self-described poor country officer who found himself enlisted in Hadrian Marlowe's cause by chance and proved one of his most loyal senior officers. He had a wife named Penelope and a son named Arramon, whom he never met, who joined the navy.
Ghoshal committed to Hadrian after initially doubting his identity, commanded HAPSIS forces through the Vorgossos campaign, and defied fleet admiral Douro's order to abandon Hadrian. He was killed when the Watcher Ushara possessed him and forced a confrontation with Hadrian's party, after which Cassandra struck him down. Hadrian filed a false report to preserve his honor. After his death, the remnants of his crew continued to serve aboard Demiurge among Hadrian's people.
