Eva

Eva is a homunculus designed by Antonius Brevon and employed as his office receptionist on March Station. Her artificial origin is evident in her disproportionate features -- eyes too large and too green, nose and chin too small -- and a clockwork precision to her movements. She serves as Brevon's attendant during his meeting with Hadrian, receiving silent instructions through an earring-mounted communicator. Brevon offers to sell her genome to Hadrian, an offer that prompts Hadrian to contrast her engineered servitude with the more autonomous existence of Ilex.
