Antonius Brevon
CharacterAlso known as: Antonius
First appears in Howling Dark, Chapter 21
Antonius Brevon is a merchant based at March Station who operates under the name Brevon Imports. His office sits beneath the station's fishery tank, with an alumglass wall through which fish swim. He keeps a large raven named Hrothgar and employs a homunculus receptionist of his own design. His blank metal-disc eyes and prosthetic hands mark him as deeply enmeshed with Extrasolarian technology and culture.
Brevon serves as a broker for passage to Vorgossos, drawing on extensive connections with the Exalted. He is a convinced Extrasolarian apologist, dismissing the Sollan Empire as backwards and crediting Extrasolarian regions with medical advances including the ossulum vaccine. When Hadrian approaches him seeking transport to Vorgossos, Brevon accepts a sample of upper-caste Cielcin blood in lieu of his standard fee, citing its value for pharmaceutical and tissue-regeneration research.
