Aron

Aron is a junior soldier serving as a decurion in the Dragonslayers under Sharp. He is first encountered by Hadrian during a meeting in the Ascalon's hold before the siege of Ganelon.

Aron leads two notable operations during the Ganelon campaign. In the assault on the hightower, he commands the unit responsible for destroying the space elevator's moorings, successfully severing the orbital tether and sending the station out of orbit. He later leads the squad that breaks Hadrian out of the Tempest's brig, disguising his soldiers as common ship crew to maintain the deception. Once the shuttle clears the Tempest, he reveals his identity, explains the jailbreak, and provides Hadrian with water and a thermal blanket before assisting him onto the Jaddian retrieval ship.
