Allander Peake

Lord Allander Peake is the Minister of Justice on the Imperial Council, distinguished by a pointed black beard. He takes a procedural role in Council deliberations: he moves to have the investigation into Hadrian's survival transferred to the Martian Guard on jurisdictional grounds, and subsequently raises the Holy Terran Chantry's request -- forwarded in the Synarch's absence -- that the officers who breached a Chantry frigate submit themselves for interrogation. When Hadrian objects, Peake counsels restraint, suggesting the Chantry's interest is limited to understanding how the security breach was accomplished. He agrees to transmit Hadrian's reply to the Synarch.
