Wodan

Wodan is the site of a major Imperial military engagement known as the Battle of Wodan, fought approximately forty years before the present-day narrative. Under First Strategos Duke Hauptmann, the 437th and 438th Centaurine Legions — assisted by foederated companies including the Whitehorse Company — attacked and largely destroyed a Cielcin worldship fortress in orbit. Several hundred Cielcin were taken prisoner; most were handed to the Legion Intelligence Office, though the Whitehorse Company's commandant Sir Alexei Karelin is reported to have secretly retained a pair of the prisoners. The Cielcin scuttled their worldship in orbit before their leader fled to warp.
