Springdeep Castle

Springdeep is a settlement on Emesh's southern continent of Anshar, serving as the base for Archon Perun Veisi's castle, Sir Elomas Redgrave's family estate, and a permanent Imperial military installation. Prior to the Calagah expedition, Hadrian stays at Veisi's castle at Springdeep, learning Emesh's pre-Imperial history from Valka and Sir Elomas. The camp servants transported from Springdeep to the excavation site include Sir Elomas's squire Karthik Veisi, the maidservant Damara, and the cook Orso. When Hadrian goes missing in the Calagah tunnels, Elomas waves Springdeep for a search party. Knight-Tribune Raine Smythe's emergency command orders in the wake of the Cielcin ship crash also originate from Springdeep, and the installation is close enough to Calagah for combat shuttles to arrive rapidly following the impact.
