Perfugium

Perfugium was the site of a Cielcin assault in which seven Cielcin worldships were deployed against the planet, an engagement referred to retrospectively as the Battle of Perfugium. This earlier battle is contrasted with the later and far larger attack on Nessus, which drew thirty-two worldships.

Perfugium is an Imperial world included on Emperor William XXIII's tour of approximately thirty frontier worlds in the Centaurine region, undertaken to reinforce Imperial territories following the fall of the Veil of Marinus. The Emperor visits it alongside worlds such as Vanaheim, Aulos, and Carteia as part of a broader effort to stabilize the frontier against the Cielcin advance.
