Royal Knights Victorian
FactionFirst appears in Demon in White, Chapter 1
The Royal Knights Victorian are an elite knightly order belonging directly to the Emperor of the Sollan Empire. Membership is extremely rare and is typically reserved for members of the Imperial family.
Organization
The Royal Knights Victorian -- formally the Royal Victorian Order -- is an elite order of knights under the direct authority of the Emperor. Membership is conferred personally by the Emperor through a dubbing ceremony. Knights Victorian do not answer to ordinary Imperial ministers, including the Director of Legion Intelligence, placing them outside the normal chain of command.
History
Hadrian Marlowe is inducted into the Royal Victorian Order during a ceremony in the Georgian Chapel, where the Emperor dubs him a knight and lord in his own right with the words 'Then rise a knight, Sir Hadrian, and Lord Marlowe in your own right.' Hadrian is noted as the youngest inductee not of the Imperial family.
Notable Members
Hadrian Marlowe is the youngest person inducted into the order who is not a member of the Imperial family. He holds the title Sir Hadrian and Lord Marlowe in his own right following his investiture.
