House Kephalos

House Kephalos is the palatine house of Lady Liliana's birth and the ruling ducal family of Delos, headed by Vicereine-Duchess Lady Elmira Kephalos of Auriga Province. The house's connection to the Imperial family makes it a significant political force: Lady Elmira is a distant cousin of the Emperor, and Lord Alistair Marlowe holds his prefecture by her grant. Its heraldic device includes a Kephalos eagle, which Liliana wears as a gold brooch rather than adopting Marlowe colors.

The Kephalos family home is in Artemia, where Lady Elmira's castle is also located. The family also holds land in the southern region of Delos, including the summer palace at Haspida. House Kephalos legionnaires — wearing Imperial ivory with the Kephalos emblem on their left arms and the Imperial sun on their right — are posted at the studio villa on the Haspida estate where Hadrian's mother works as a librettist and composer of holo-operas.
