Tor Carter

Tor Carter is a scholiast and Vaiartu expert at the Phanamhara dig site on Sabratha, where she has worked for over thirty years -- the longest tenure of anyone at the site. She is also a covert HAPSIS operative, dispatched in advance of Hadrian's expedition by the Magnarch of Perseus on Tiryns.

Carter is the leading authority on the refraction phenomenon at the site. She discovered the entangled behavior of the three copies of Doctor Mann -- preserved on ice for thirty-four years -- and confirmed the simultaneous-stimulus effect by transporting one copy to Markov Station. She briefs the expedition on the phenomenon's physics using higher-dimensional geometry and is subsequently ordered by Oberlin to study the pantheon carvings alongside Tor Rassam.
