Sir Alexei Karelin

Sir Alexei Karelin is the commandant of the Whitehorse Company, a foederated mercenary organization that has served multiple Imperial Legion contracts. He holds a knightly title — junior Whitehorse soldiers correct anyone who omits the "Sir" when addressing him. His former subordinate Kogan refers to him as "Commandant Alexei" and reports that before Kogan left the company after the Battle of Wodan, Karelin secretly retained a pair of captured Cielcin prisoners for his own purposes rather than turning them over to the Legion Intelligence Office.
