Sibylla is a Jaddian woman of apparent high rank who occupies the seat at the Empress's right hand in the royal box. She may be a princess or satrap of Jadd. She conveys to Hadrian that the Satrap di Sayyiph regards him as a man of quality, and is present when the Empress publicly humiliates him.
