Marko

Marko is an Exalted serving as hawker and nuncius aboard the Enigma of Hours. Heavily modified, his scalp peels to reveal wires threaded against bone, bone-white scalpel blades extend from beneath his fingernails, and white light pulses beneath the skin of his left ear. He acts as gatekeeper and promoter for the oracle Jari, soliciting clients and explaining that Jari survived exposure to the xenobiotic Deeps of Apas -- an experience that fractured his mind but granted him apparent foresight. When Hadrian's questioning drives Jari into convulsions, Marko forcibly ejects him at bladepoint.
