Malo

Malo is a palace pleasure servant — one of the body workers kept for the guests of Count Mataro's palatinate — who appears at the door of Valka's diplomatic suite when Hadrian arrives for an evening meeting. He is described as handsome, gray-eyed, and muscled, with slight facial asymmetries that mark him as plebeian rather than palatine. He is untroubled by being found unclothed at the door. Valka refers to him as 'Mal' before he corrects the diminutive to 'Malo,' and he departs down the corridor at her direction, telling her to 'dial in if you need me again.'
