Lieutenant Chatterjee

Lieutenant Chatterjee is a junior officer aboard the Rhea, stationed at the forward communications console on the bridge. During a Cielcin assault on the ship, he is killed by a knife-missile thrown by one of the attackers -- he managed to get to his feet and take three steps toward the creature before the blow struck him between the shoulder blades.
