Keriot

Keriot is a captain of the Sentinels who leads the boarding of Hadrian's ship Tempest at Tenba, acting on behalf of Emperor Alexander VI. He is armored in black bearing the ring icon of Earth.

Keriot disarms Hadrian of his weapons and terminal while leaving his Imperial rings, stating they are to be delivered to Alexander. When Sir Verus attacks one of his soldiers, Keriot kills him instantly with a pistol firing highmatter rounds, then calmly holsters the weapon and offers a courtly apology to Selene. He combines the manners of a courtier with the instincts of a killer, and declines to shoot Hadrian when Alexander commands it.
