Holden

Holden is a centurion and Ghoshal's batman whose loyalty was forged at Sabratha. He serves in Hadrian's inner circle throughout the mission to Annica and Danu, commanding the Imperial ground soldiers and acting as field comm liaison.

During the Danu evacuation, Holden commands the ground soldiers in red Imperial armor and keeps order under fire. Aboard Demiurge after the battle, he fights through possessed refugees and sustains a flash-burn to the face from a plasma bolt fired by his own soldier Joti, losing both eyebrows. Sustained by a pharmaceutical stimulant and near death from his wounds, he volunteers to hold the rear in the tramway tunnel while Hadrian and the children escape. He kills seven of the possessed before they overwhelm and kill him.
