Catherine Domitia Harfleur

Catherine Domitia Harfleur is the Baroness Varadeto, an elderly palatine noblewoman encountered in Kharn Sagara's waiting chamber on Vorgossos. She is stooped with age and dressed in soiled finery heavy with jewels, and carries a silver cane. Like Hadrian's other companion in the chamber, Baron Song, she is awaiting a new cloned body from Kharn. She attempts to introduce Hadrian to Baron Song and, together with Song, protests when Hadrian is summoned to see Kharn ahead of them.
