Captain Adar Rice

Adar Rice, Lord Captain, commands the Imperial flagship Aurora. A weathered Martian officer, he participates in a ready room briefing with Hadrian during the battle against the Watchers, accepting Hadrian's account of events while pushing back on assessments of Mericanii weapon capabilities. When the giant Watcher Miudanar appears above the Aurora, he orders the flagship's primary dorsal missile batteries to engage and directs his crew to continue fighting. He is deeply unsettled by the inexplicable nature of the Watchers and demands that Hadrian explain why Miudanar bore his face.
