Bikashi

Bikashi is a Cielcin slave in the service of Ramanthanu, accompanying her master on an operation to hunt down boarders. Known for constant chatter, she is silenced by Ramanthanu with a blow during the mission. Ramanthanu deliberately orders her forward as a shield-bearer, knowing a self-guided drone would strike her first; the drone passes through her shield and detonates inside her, killing her. Ramanthanu later acknowledges to Hadrian that the sacrifice was intentional.
