Alphonse Bourbon

Alphonse Bourbon, son of Edmond, son of Charles, is a golden-haired prince of House Bourbon and a cousin of Lord Augustin Bourbon. He is the grandson of Charles, the brother of Gibson, making him Gibson's own blood.

Alphonse confronts Hadrian at the War Council, accusing him of murdering Augustin Bourbon and demanding that Emperor Alexander refuse Hadrian's appointment. Alexander overrules him. His hostility toward Hadrian is sustained -- he stands red-faced during the council uproar against him and is later spotted glaring at Hadrian among the courtiers at the Llurug Planum.
